- Leveling will always matter. Even if you want to say only the current expansion matters, the first part of that is leveling… in the new expansion. If it didn’t matter at all and player feedback and participation reflected that, Blizzard would have just stopped increasing the level cap by now, locking things behind quest completion instead or something.
- This thread is not solely about leveling. As I have said multiple times, it’s the same situation at Level 70, just for slightly different reasons. Are you also going to say that Level 70 Content doesn’t matter because it’s not M+20? If so, congrats, almost none of the game matters! And that’s it’s own problem.
Easy Content != Joke Content
There is room for things to change while still being able to keep it accessible and call it easy.
So easy content has to be a completely mindless experience?
Nothing needs to change. You have Follower Dungeons if you want to take your time and learn.
Is there anything below mythic raiding and 11+ that people wouldn’t call “easy content” though?
Oh boy, all the usual trolls are showing up in this thread.
Disagreeing isn’t trolling.
The entire reason Follower Dungeons exist is to take it at your own pace, learn if that’s what you want or need and finish quests. All with the followers staying with you and doing what you want to do.
Sure, they could make it take an hour or longer like dungeons in Vanilla, which were still easy but pointlessly long. There’s no reason to do that in the slightest though. Easy and slow is still easy.
I’ll agree that it had a lot to do with time but players whined for ages about the difficulty of the most trivial content the game has always offered, whether it be dungeons, LFR, or even open world content.
Nothing matters except the most bleeding cutting edge most difficult content, and only pre-nerf.
This is the mind of a world first raider.
Yes they are ![]()
And as usual you can already see the personal disputes leading to contrarian takes from people that are contradicting the poster they were a few weeks or days ago.
This just in! “Normal dungeons are easy.”
You’d be better served “learning” on target dummies than in follower dungeons. You, of all people, who have claimed to be relegated to Remix because of recent dungeon changes, should be able to see the problem the OP is pointing out.
If leveling dungeons took longer to complete and were more difficult, players probably wouldn’t even bother with them and stick to questing.
A Normal leveling dungeon having next to no difficulty for players with the bare minimum skill? Say it ain’t so!
You would be better learning your rotation on something that doesn’t fight back or die, allowing you to try to push your damage without any external interference? Yes, and if that is news to you I’m glad to be the one to bring it to your attention. If you mean exploring the dungeons, learning boss timings, learning mob locations, yeah follower dungeons are great for learning that.
That’s an odd thing to say when we consistently get easy, casual friendly content, especially with delves coming in TWW as a very significant new progression path.
The high end folks you claim are all he cares about get barely anything and mythic raid, the pinnacle of PVE, has a ton of issues that haven’t been addressed.
Because its normal and a leveling experience. It’s not meant to be hard. Its meant to be easy like that
Great for this purpose. Can bumble around all over the place to your heart’s content.
Terrible for anything else. They are a tutorial for continuing to be bad. As are leveling dungeons, as are heroics at max level, as are 0s at max level.
The game is utterly terrible at teaching people how to play, always has been, always will be.
well…you’re tanking, you could group up the mobs, stop, and allow your dps to aoe them down, but I know that’s no longer a thing.
