Is this stupid thing ever accurate?

If you are talking about right now, it’s 3am pst. so it’s probably not going to be that accurate. Try again when a lot more players are in the game.
There is definitely something wrong with the queue system when it comes to timewalking at least. Last night, got into a good group so we decided to keep going and run to a few more.
Every time we queued as a full group, it would register us missing a DPS then either after dropping and re-queueing several times or waiting 2-3 minutes it would finally pop. This was a full group mind you, so there should have been no wait.
Blizz comes out with a $90 mount, and probably made a lot of money off of it, but still can’t fix this queue bug that seems to happen with timewalking dungeons. Seen others say even if they queue for timewalking at normal hours or peak hours, it still takes 20+ minutes, seen holiday boss queues get into the double digits as well.
The average is probably for everyone. Because the average queue time for tanks and healers is much shorter than for dps it displays a deceptively small average.
I always assume the tank/healer is like 2 seconds. So that’s where the average comes in
Average wait time does not guarantee what your experience will be like so I can understand it being off. But, I do wonder what “average” actually means.
Average during past 1 hour and average during past 12 hours would be a completely different metric.
The accuracy is annoying. What bothers me more is when it finally comes up and a dps declines. Then it tells you that you are being returned “to the front of the queue”. Where you wait an additional 10 minutes, for a dps? I find that hard to believe. Not sure if this is similar to what happened to Kimarui.
