Queue times Class Action

The queue times are a massive disappointment. They were predictable from the announcement of TBC classic, from that moment there was WotLK classic hype. There is substantial analytics and otherwise evidence to prove so. I would like anyone with legal background to look into the formation of a class action lawsuit for the ungodly hours that have added up to the many people waiting to use a product that they pay monthly for. Throughout the many years of Warcraft, queue times have been foreseeable with analytics and common reasoning. If Blizzard and the WoW teams are unable to fix this issue by the end of tomorrows maintenance period, I and I am sure the greater community would be interested in a legal conversation of how the product effects the paying consumer.

We pay for a service that Blizz is not providing. Not a legal eagle at all, but seems like they are not living up to their side of the bargain. I like the way Staysafe put it, imagine if you had to wait up to 5 hours (not uncommon on Grobb for the past 5 days) to watch a video on Netflix. Both are paid services, and you should not be forced to sit and wait due to limitation made intentionally by the service provider.

There is an abundance of people paying for a service that the has terms and conditions to be followed by the purchaser, and thereby the providing party has contractual obligations to in fact provide. I am not a person of law or legal background, but I as many others am a person that does not appreciate my time or money wasted. Blizzard has the time, the money, and the technology to fix this issue; and purely seem to ignore the work and blame the consumer. Which blaming the consumer gives them a bad look, as well the outcome was foreseeable as it has always been. Analytics have shown since TBC original that faction balance was not going to be 50:50 or 60:40, that in the care/choice of the consumer the, a person would rather be and have the backing of the many rather than stand alone versus an army.

You’ll find that the ToS - written by people whose entire lives are devoted to protecting a company with legalese - will completely protect them. Even outages are protected under a certain amount of time.

Legally, they probably “Offer access to the WoW servers and to the World of Warcraft game”. You can still play WoW on another server, you can still access the game you pay for. I doubt there’s any promise of your gear, character, etc. being available all the time.

In other words , you have no leg to stand on.

Blizzard resolved this by adding Cross Realms.
Do you want Cross Realms or Queue Times?

They previously resolved it by adding layers, I’d be fine with that once more. Cross realm was not to resolve an issue of over population, cross realm resolved dead servers not feeling as dead but were still noticeably dead; that was an inadequate and poorly equated comparison. Layering will happen with WotLK anyway as it was introduced through quests and certain areas of the expansion, adding them/more now wouldn’t make any much more of a difference. As well, there will NEED to be an abundance of layers as of launch day for Wrath because there are ONLY 2 starting leveling zones. …The other option is increasing actual server/population capacity per layer, but Blizzard has NEVER been good or adequate at increasing population in such a manor; see any WoW classic World Boss or any single highly contested world event. Especially in comparison to other games on current market or to be released / currently in alpha/beta.

I’ll take the cross realms, thanks. Far better than having these queues.

Yes. Cross realms please. Or make it just one realm like most new mmos do. If there is a way to allow more players to play together then they should do it. Including rdf.

Wouldnt work as they are offering free transfers which is an option to play

Im not in bene. Being on bene has nothing to do with it. People paid blizz money to transfer. Blizz took thier money. They have some responsibility.

I’m almost positive that implementing cross realm would be more difficult and more outrageous to the classic fan base, than the previously mention increase in number of layers. Layers legitimately work as they are incorporated into the story gameplay and can be decreased/removed as the player base levels and plays through, then added back if needed later on in patches or whenever.

I play on fearlina. I don’t think server actually matters. To anyone saying that transfers are offered, it’s a non solution. Transfers are offered to move to dead servers or to be bought and pay more of your money to a company that created and designed the issue.

Cross realms destroyed server identity. One of the reason I don’t play retail.

Cross realm servers would be horrible. It would destroy server communities. This is retail talk and actually gross.

Just wait a min. Once dragon flight comes out there will be no que times as the retail andy’s will go through that content.

But…the glory of Wrath, created by people who wanted to make an amazing game instead of making passive income via money transactions might reign supreme over dragon flight. If this is the case, blizz needs to make another rppvp realm.

Another option, let people migrate their characters so they can get ready for wrath and transfer back for free. We shouldn’t be paying them to transfer anyway, we pay a sub it should be free.

being forced off a server you like by extreme queue times destroys server identity much more than cross realm zones
