What methods are being used to exploit the queue system, allowing premades to farm pug EBGs?
Blizzard would need to know what to go after in the first place.
Imagine a rollercoaster waiting line. All your family goes enter the line together and join the line in hopes to all be on the same ride. Then its your turn but you realise 5 of you wont make it on the ride, so all your family leaves the queue, then re-enters the queue at he end again. But because you did that, the ride had to start without being full.
Now you have people get thrown in an already started rollercoaster and gettijg shred to pieces on the rails trying to catch one of the free seats while you and your family are doing it again at another line.
The bad thing about queue synch is queue dropping.
Agreed.
I know when I enter an EBG and half the raid window is empty by the time the countdown timer starts that I am standing in the wake of a queue dodging premade.
There’s 2 in particular. One I haven’t seen the same of but it asically confirms character id’s that you add to a list in said que to confirm you’re in the same BG.
Other one is BattlegroundCommander iirc.
OP I think its an addon they use. Blizzard knows, but like always its gonna be a hot min.
Wrong the bad thing about que synching is that it’s a form of mass cheating and an entire part of the game is ruined. Whether they dodge or play. These “players” are the bottom feeders of wow. Cheaters and unsportsmanlike. Zero integrity
It makes sense, arena 2s n 3s it takes skilled players to carry one against highly skilled players trying to win, so they win at a disadvantage. But with premades, they can farm the rating in mass, more accounts at once to make more profit. Highly skilled groups in discord, against pugs with no voice. They dont have the resources to stop the premades.
I knew the limited time 100 dollar mounts was a bad sign, they had to do that to keep wow afloat. Now the EU passes a law against Microtransactions in gaming, they called out Activision Blizz by name, tells ya they are not making enough revenue.
Turning BGs and EBGs into an Esport may be the buzz generator to turn this around.
All the material is right there, it just needs some facilitation and visibility.
No offense, but arena is not entry friendly and is too arcane to understand for a layman watching. Everyone can understand “capture the flag” and “hold the base”.
What do I get out of this?
I see the game I enjoy flourish and get more people in game to play with.
Same, we all want the game to get better!
