What are some relatively common quests that you’ll never, ever, do again, even though it’s easy exp.
For me it’s catching Windswept Balloons in Stormwind or Org for the orphans. I mean, can’t I just buy you balloons, and tie them to your hands?

Like half the world quests in Zerelec Caverns.
Shell Corporation being the worst
The allied race recruitment quests.
Because the game won’t let me.
Pretty much every quest I’ve ever done in wow.
95% of quest dialogue in DF was written for soccer moms that don’t keep score and their 5 year old kids. I will never do any DF storylines ever again.
Most ‘vehicle’ quests from past expansions. (Oddly enough, I find I like the DF ones.)
Any quest where the kill-to-collect ratio is greater than 3:1 (4:1 if it’s a small #).
Those bubble-hopping quests from, I think it was, Legion.
Im struggling trying to just quest in DF right now. I got to level 70 doing PUGs on release day and with all the xp buffs. So its hard to motivate myself to quest in DF in the first place, but the quest dialog? Makes me want to do them less or like never lol.
Jumping Jellies in Nastyjar, I did it once just to say I did it, will never do it again for any amount of gold.
half the sidequests in osh’rahn plains.
Escort quests. They always make the NPCs slower than running, but faster than walking.
Also, the DK starting quest - “How to Win Friends and Influence Enemies”. The RNG of whether or not a Scarlet Crusader talks when struck with the pokers swings wildly. I’ve gotten it within a couple hits to killing enough crusaders to get an entire level up. This quest alone makes me never want to make another Core Race as a DK ever again.
They’ve gotten better over the years, still not ideal. I still have flashbacks to Vanilla WoW, the tree in Felwood you had to escort to the borders of Ashenvale… and he was flagged for PvP!
Ungoro advanced gold
that BfA horsey show off world quest in Tiragarde. right behind are the penguin sliding quests, they have been buggy to me with the yeti always catching up in 3 seconds. then Race Day at the Ramparts for similarly how the opponents burst win near the end like this dude from Chrono Trigger
I was leveling a B.Elf through their starting zone on Classic and groaned the moment I got to the quest to save a Farstrider from the Amani troll crypts in Ghostlands. She power walks at a speed that’s faster than the player’s walk, but slower than the player’s run AND she’ll run over and attack any troll that’s close by.
I’ll probably never do most of the Dragonflight quests again. It’s all taking pictures of furry animals, doing other people’s jobs, (like finding artifacts for the archeologists even though the only reason they’re in the Isles is to find said artifacts) and talking with characters who try to seem smart but actually have the IQ of a murloc.
Quests I will never do again?
YES!!
I loathe questing.
November 2004
Me being a nub learning the game. Didnt know flight masters existed/would have been too poor to afford it.
Quest in Thunderbluff to go to Org.
Ran the entire way, getting lost trying to take shorcuts up mountians and dieing over and over. Sure it was cool to explore, but corpse running through zones was madening.
Quest to do again
Cata comes out and in Badlands there are a group of 4-5 npc around a fire all telling highly exaggerated stories. All trying to one up each other. The quest makes you replay these stories.
Last one has you running up to Deathwing and punching him in the face.
100% just a bunch of buddies poop talking with each other over beers.
If I never do the Brennadam quests, I can pretend the town was never attacked. Ezpz.
Shadowlands. Any.
ugh, these are my least favorite. kill 8 or 9 of something and you finally get a drop. “yay, i’m done! oh wait… i need 19 more.” abandon time!
