I was looking at the Ohn’ahran quest ‘To Tame a Thunderspine’ and saw that it was one of those quests that require you to do one part per day for a number of days (5 in this case).
I’m vaguely aware that there was a similar quest to get some kind of void pet/mount during the N’zoth phase of Battle for Azeroth, and some kind of dinosaur in Un’goro crater in Classic, I think?
Does anyone know if there’s a list/compilation of all these types of quests? For those looking to make progress on as many of them as possible. I can’t think of a better term for them than ‘Daily Quest’ so I’m not sure what to search for.

I don’t know what the actual term for those quests are (progression daily quests…?), but I do know what you’re referring to. I tried to look up a list for you, but couldn’t find one. 
I did, however, find a video of mounts that you can work towards like this, so I’ll link that.
Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. Maybe someone else knows of a full comprehensive list.

It does leave me wondering how many of those are out there that reward unique, non-mount things as well.
Also, the Venomhide/Winterspring mount is precisely the one I was thinking off, so double-thanks for that.
