Quests don't reward gear anymore?

Was hoping to get some gear but so far everything is just rewarding bonus reputation. Boring.

Bonus quests weren’t giving XP either, they’d give a minimum of 40k in Shadowlands. Someone seriously hosed me, and went to great lengths to stop me from hitting 70 on day one.

I think I got bracers, gloves and pants(?) but yes, mostly rep :woman_shrugging:

Almost all my gear has come from quests. There are plenty of quests that give gear.

I’m getting lots of gear, but for the first few levels my existing gear was still better.

Have to do the side quests not just main story.
