Quests and the quest log are not updating. If I type /reload, the quest tracker will update, but will not update on its own. I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game. I am running with no mods or addons. I have cleared my cache, interface, WTF, and character folders. I have run scripts to stop tracking achievements. I don’t know what else to do or try as every thread on this issue does not have a solution that is working for me.
I believe this issue started when I was at the theater on the Isle of Dorn and left before the event completed. This issue is affecting all characters on my account.

Same issue here, started sometime yesterday morning. Have disabled all addons and all that fun stuff but the problem persists. Effects all characters on the account, need to constantly /reload to get updated quest progress and it only lasts until the next “update” to the objective/quest/world quest.
Really irritating to play with.

Same for me, it’s kinda annoying and it’s affecting the indicator on the minimap as well.

Just returned to the game, and this is happening to me, was there never a fix?
Edit: did a repair of game, and seems to be working now

More often than not when I recieve a quest with an item that I must use I have to open my map to get the quest tracker to update, otherwise the UI doesn’t update that I recieved something that needs to be clicked.
If my problem is the same as yours I’m a little disheartened that things like this don’t matter more in the eyes of Blizzard after all these months. I don’t know if this or junk items I vendor not selling for the right tooltip amount unless I relog to be worse.
