Questions about FoK build for PVP

SO, a lot of rouges run the FoK’s build for bgs; either taking flying daggers or mind numbing vs. caster cleave comps. I was wondering if anyone actually knows in-depth how to play this spec and would be willing to share though? I haven’t found any sort of guide on this spec yet either

My overall dmg in bgs is generally low, at around 2.5 mil (a lot of the time getting high KB’s when I’m playing well due to kidney envenom burst windows but being low in overall dmg) and I really would like to be at a more consistent 5-7 mil damage. How can I increase overall damage?
I see a lot of other rogues pulling 7 mil damage and I really want to know how to become more consistent.
Is FoK’s build good only for maps like silvershard mines? while on flag carrier maps you might want system shock and poison bomb?

If anyone is willing to share what you are thinking I’d really appreciate it.

I honestly feel like any rogue who’s running a FoK build for pvp is just there to pad the meters. They aren’t playing the class to its full potential, because a rogue isn’t in a BG to top the damage meters. Rogues are there to lock down enemy healers, open kill windows for their team, and sap capping nodes when possible.

If you really want to pad the meters though, Stack Echoing Blades x3 Azerite Trait, run the Flying Daggers PvP talent and maybe grab the Hidden Blades talent. I haven’t played around with the Hidden Blades talent much, so I’m not sure how the burst is if you let the stacks build up but it might have some good burst potential. With x3 Echoing Blades and the Flying Daggers PvP talent you could probably easily pad the meters by just spamming FoK in a group fight.

I actually think you’re right. I just did a twin peaks on my orc rogue trying FoK’s build and I was in team fight for basically zero minutes and 51 seconds only when I was peeling for our FC.

I do want to pad the meters though, I can tell there is at least some potential but just spreading a lot of ruptures might be good enough plus it gives you insane energy regen.

About hidden blades though, it actually can hit like a truck it seems. My orc rogue is ~415 ilvl and on the target dummies at mugambala with 20 stacks up it can hit from 60k to 100k hitting three targets.
(I think those target dummies take way more damage than a player would though even though they’re PVP DMG dummies)

Basically this. Don’t focus on your overall damage, focus on your objectives. A rogue’s job isn’t to go full mongo, your power is in your control… especially as alliance. Most likely a good portion of your teammates are tunneling one of their dps and paying zero attention to that healer freecasting in the backline. So lock down that healer so your mongoloid teammates can actually secure kills.

But, if you really just want to pad yours numbers, then the advice given above seems sufficient.

Before I go in on a target. I fan of knives spam and rupture everything I can. Let the pressure start building and go ham and cheese on a healer.
