For unholy currently I am at 60% mastery, at what point does this hit diminishing returns? Does this mean unholy will not scale well?
For frost is dual wield superior for BoS and Obliteration builds?

I believe you start to hit diminishing return at 30%, but mastery is probably still better than other secondary stats up until maybe 50%-ish for PvE. I’d advise you to sim all your gear, that’s the best way to be sure.
For frost, generally DW for BoS and 2H for Obliteration.
Mastery DR comes much later, 76% mastery

You hit diminishing returns at 30 “points” of mastery, but since the character sheet doesn’t directly display “points” anymore this is kind of opaque. Frost gets 2% damage per point of mastery, and 8 points base which don’t count toward DR, so really you’re not even hitting the first tier of DR until 76%.
Alternately, you can just use the fact that every spec hits mastery DR at 1050 rating. Even with procs, we don’t cross that threshold very much this season.
I know I’m boring but I want 2H oblit to be the best spec.
