So, I’ve recently done a bunch of delves, finally completed the first notch in the season by doing 7s all day. Though I do have questions:
IL 593, I have attempted a Tier 8 for a few minutes before I walked out, since each hit did way too much damage and it took too long to get anywhere. I’ll probably wait to get IL 600, but should I instead get a bit higher IL just to make sure it’s easier? 7s are manageable, but one mess up wipes you instantly.
Back in the Beginning and on Wowhead there’s mentions of chests bearing “Quest Items” to turn in to the Night Elf Chick in Dornogal. Since I did the first one, there has not been another one of these. I tried to use the weird maps, I had the max one can have, but all they give is pathetic gear (they’re tier 4, tier 3 maps, I destroyed the rest). Did they cut the quest, or was Wowhead wrong? How many delves are we going to have to do to get to Max Season 1?
Along that note, when do the delves stop contributing to the Journey? I found a majority of the Delves I did today counted, several bountifuls and several ordinary delves, but doing another 7 this evening I earned no Delver’s Journey Points. Likely there’s a daily cap.
With that said, is there a Daily Cap to Brann XP? He was getting TONS of XP earlier today, each delve offered him half a level, but once more this evening he barely moved and the Curios stopped offering XP.
Furthermore, how often do Bountiful Delves appear? Don’t worry, I keep up with World Quests, and Renown Content to keep getting Coffer Keys.
Lastly, is the Suprise Zek’vir random, or is there ways to avoid him. He seems to pop up in the most mischievous of times.
And Bonus Question, since I’m building up IL and whatnot to get the Void Derigible sometime later when I’m stronger (Requiring me to kill Zek’vir in his lair at max difficulty alone), Any suggestions for the Zek’vir fight? I tested the ? Difficulty and managed to whittle down 10% of his health before I noted Brann and my demon were getting WIPED and soon enough so was I. What IL should I be? What Curios should Brann have.
And those’re my questions. Being honest, since the recent Warhammer III patch filked all my saves WOW is all I have at the moment, so Delves have been quite nice. Been trying to break from Elder Scrolls games too since, I’ve touched WOW and Classic Era little.
Oh, Bonus Question, I’m 593, is that Normal Raid Ready? CYA!
I’ve been doing t8s since 580s, and they were doable but challenging for me - however I am a frost dk. Switching Brann to healer made them almost trivial though you do need to keep an eye on your health bar. Of course the better your gear gets, the easier they will become.
There are 4 bountiful delves per day and they reset daily. Zek’vir invading your runs are always random, if you don’t want to fight him you can just die to him, but killing him will drop a map so I would recommend to always kill him if you can handle it.
Agreed. Keeping Bran at heals, staying on the move, and mitigating your own damage are key. As a lock, I would speculate that Demonologist would be the preferred spec since you can just keep stacking pets.
Sorry, someone will have to fill in the finer points, but for a few of these:
1: If you have a tank friend see if you can get them to meatshield for you for a few tier 8 delves, just to get you off the ground. Though I still struggle solo delving on DPS classes even up at 607 ilvl, personally.
3: At level 15, I believe. Blizzard didn’t like people leveling Brann on ‘easier’ content, so only bountiful delves offer experience past that.
4: No daily cap, but see above.
5: Four are available per day, and reset when daily quests reset every day.
7: Did this duo and we had to go double dps. Pretty tight DPS check getting the egg killed before the spider spawns, or if it does spawn, you’ll need a second kick for the spider and one for Zek’vir. It’s doable solo but you gotta crank the damage.
You would not believe how horrid a 5 was for this lock back when the season started, Luckily things are looking better. And now that I know Zek’vir is random… I’ll be… incredibly cautious from here on out! Luckily I’ve managed to bring him down once now!
And I’ve had Brann set to Heals for awhile now, since I get my Felguard to use his Threatening Presence, most of the time he keeps aggro, so while I’m topped off, I still run through Dwarven medicine to help him out. That alone helped the Dreadpit move from Nightmare to Snooze fest.
I;ve encountered him 3 times now, killed him once and he dropped loot, and the other two times I died and he didnt drop anything. so not sure if thats related or not
