Zulac here. I just have a quick question:
Why does Windfury Totem only affect your party and not your entire raid?
I’d very much like to know the reasoning behind this decision as each and every one of our other beneficial totems can impact both a party and raid.
TOTEMS that affect just the PARTY
Windfury Totem
TOTEMS that affect PARTY and RAID
Healing Stream Totem
Cloudburst Totem
Healing Tide Totem
Earthen Wall Totem
Mana Tide Totem
Spirit Link Totem
Tremor Totem
Skyfury Totem (PVP)
Again, very curious behind the decision.

Balance. The totems power is made based on it hitting only 5 people if it hit 20 or 40 the power of the totem would be significantly different and the effect would be nerfed. While if it just picked 5 players may not pick you and that would suck. If it picked you plus 4 melee the totem is better on avg than now as not all groups have 5 melee in the same party so again the effects power may be reduced.
Basicly how it is allows for the effect power it was balanced around vs needing a different effect power to match the different effect.
While not everything should be cookie cutter. Wind fury being party based is one of the few spots where party’s matter some like that flavour.
