Genuinely interested in your answer. Why do you find camping the dmf npc all day/everyday fun?
-Ranking? This has to be the world’s worst honor per hour grind out there. At least grief incursions?
-OMGBBQIMSTRONG? I’ve done pvp at every level and personally I’ve never been excited about killing dad gamers who don’t fight back. Is this an ego boost to your 1337 skills?
-Do you just want to watch the world burn? I mean this is the only option that seems to make sense to me. Maybe your life sucks so bad that you just want to harass other people? You’re into that online ANTIFA/SKIN head vibe? Just living and breathing hate?
I’m honestly just curious in why you do what you do. What motivates you to do this every single day? I can’t really think of anything in life that I could match with your griefing dedication.

Question to people who roll on PVP servers thinking it’s going to be peaches and cream then come to the forums to make threads like this …. why did you roll on a PvP server if you don’t want to PvP?
It comes with the good and the bad.
Also, nice first post. I’m sure you’ve never made another thread on the forums before about the same subject. Just not possible.
On a different note … if it were “griefing” as you claim … report the people doing it and if it’s against the ToS, then Blizz will do something about it.
My money is on they’ll do nothing because it’s PvP happening on a PvP server which requires PvP solutions.

knowing that you suffer by my will fills me with joy and satisfaction.

A lot of people roll on “PvP” servers because thats where there guild goes, and they dont really have a say.
I mean maybe we’re different, but I fail to see how 40-60 people versus 1 really counts as PvP? Here for the gang bang I guess?
You didn’t really answer the question, so please enlighten me? Why do you spend hours a day at the DMF?

Tried PvE and just can’t do it.
Takes away all fun. If I’m out farming resources and have an opposing faction player roll up to take my node and all I can do is wave … it eats my soul.
I at least want to attack and if I lose then they deserved the resource and visa versa if I won.
People camping the DMF buff are doing the Lord’s work. I love seeing “LFM for DMF raid!” Posts. Smart people solving PvP problems with PvP solutions.
Still think Blizz should put a disclaimer on the PvP servers telling people PvP will happen. Might deter these nonsensical threads.

I mean you’re absolutely right about, " If I’m out farming resources and have an opposing faction player roll up to take my node and all I can do is wave … it eats my soul." I’m with your there. If there’s something I’m trying to do to make my character or account better … I would like to PvP for it. Great!
However, DMF camping? I fail to see how that does anything for “YOU” outside of just wanting to make some dad cry?
“People camping the DMF buff are doing the Lord’s work. I love seeing “LFM for DMF raid!” Posts. Smart people solving PvP problems with PvP solutions.” The lords work??? Ok so your with the watch the world burn lets join online antifa?
But I did answer.
Maybe not directly to your response, but it’s still applicable.
Make a counter raid and even out the odds. Common sense.
If you’re going in solo … then I don’t think it’s the 40-60 other people who are looking for the … good time. It’s the individual player.
I’d strongly encourage those types to utilize the exp buff and reroll on a PvE server.

you can flag up if you want open-world pvp.
Gotcha. Are you a parser/ranker outside of this DMF “pvp” or whatever you call it? Is this the part of SoD that just gets you hard?
Yeah, but it’s no different than war mode in retail and the opposing players can just /point /laugh at me while they still get the resource.
Odds are not in my favor they’re going to jump up and take on the challenge.
I’ll just nod my head while smiling to pretend I understand whatever you’re on about.
Maybe enlighten me on where you got anything related to what you’re asking from what I said?
Maybe im the absolute minority here, but I just dont think its very fun either being the defender of buffs or the attacker.
it’s because you’re playing it wrong.
in pvp, when the enemy has 160 players in a single place, that place is theirs. You do not go near that place. they own it. It doesn’t matter what you want, or need from there. you do not have access to that place until you clear them out or they leave willingly.
that’s how you play pvp MMOs.

Sure sounds good, but the question really was about the MOTIVATION to do it for hours with nothing in return.
This isn’t a crying thread about DMF should be neutral QQ I want buffs
are you familair with EVE Online gatecamps? for some… that is the game. that’s what they play for.
Entertainment?
This IS a video game.
Have you ever participated in a full raid vs a full raid? I’m guessing not.
Yes buddy many times, I’m not going to list my pvp accolades like some nerd but i’d assume mine are a littler higher than yours.
So its just I like to sit for hours in a alliance/horde zone where the opposing faction cannot attack me unless there flagged because im a boss?
You realize you contradict yourself with the follow up statement, yes?
Just saying.
How so? Do you want me to list what i’ve done in pvp?
How about this statement mr dk. “Have you ever participated in a full raid vs a full raid? I’m guessing not.”
Your assuming that I’ve never played in a raid, and that I have no experience in pvp.
Ill assume somthing to. Maybe you’ve never had any success in a real pvp situation like arena/rbg etc, and killing afk dads is your RUSH!?
