Once our reputations adjust with the prepatch what will happen to our progress towards the paragon rewards, particularly SL since it’s first to go?? I haven’t seen anything on how the counter will advance or whether they’ll even still be available. I have most of the rewards but wonder whether I’ll be able to get the rest.

I think they are doing it now only for DF and TWW, and they will implement the others later? So i dont know
Oh my. I did not think of this issue. OP raises a very good point.
Currently, if you’re trying to farm one of the many cosmetics locked behind paragon rep, you are able to do so per character. But if all our characters share the same reputation levels and progress, than a person with 50 characters on their account would basically have 49 of their chances to farm a particular paragon reward, removed. They’d be left with only 1 chance across their entire account. That would be a HUGE problem for a lot of people.
This is potentially a massive oof moment for blizz and the playerbase. Who knew paragon rewards that everybody hated having to farm would end up coming to bite blizz in the proverbial behind?

This has always been the issue with account wide things. A simple fix would be to just let us buy those things from the rep vendor like we used to.
I always hated paragon rep, just let me be finished. I am much happier with having to use xpac currency to buy the items after rep unlock.

Correct.
Starting out in TWW, it’s only gonna be DF and TWW renown that will be “truly” account wide with warbands. They are gonna add in the other old xpac’s reps later on; no confirmed window for that yet.

For some reason I thought SL was included now. But they have mentioned reps from earlier expacs (i.e. Aldor/Scryer) so this will eventually become a bigger problem. Guess we’ll see next week how it goes, at least the DF paragon reps are next to useless.

So, what will it be? Will every character get a paragon reward (which would be the true benefit of joining rep progress) or will only one character cash in?
from what they said it will be the toon who has the highest rep will be sharded
example would be rank 20 with val any alts in the warbands will be rep 20 with val
