Question regarding stacking two weapon embellishments with an armor embellishment

I have two weapons both have Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension which stack on each other so it doubles the amount. I am wondering if I can use Writhing Armor Banding on one of my armor pieces and will the effect still work?

The Writhing Armor Banding originally doubles the affect of the Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension so instead of adding 89 points the Writhing Armor Banding affect would add 178 points. But since I have two of the weapon enchants i already get 178 points per tick. If I add Writhing Armor Banding will I get 356 per tick?

You can only wear 2 embellishments. If you use Writhing Armor Banding (which counts as an embellishment) it will double the effect of your Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension. You can’t even equip a 3rd piece of gear with an embellishment on it if you’re already wearing 2.

Pretty sure the second ascendance embellishment does nothing. You need the Writhing Arm Band.

EDIT: SO IT WOULD SEEM THAT THEY DO NOT STACK WHEN USING THE SAME SPARK!!!

SO FOR EXAMPLE IT WILL STACK WITH SET OF WEAPONS THAT USES BOTH SPARK OF FORTUNES AND SPARK OF OMENS, BUT WILL NOT STACK IF YOUR WEAPONS BOTH USE THE SAME SPARK!!!

This may be useful info to some then, up until 662 upgrade ilvl on my BiS off-hand, it was better to run a 675 MH with ascendance and a 636 OH also with ascendance, than a 675 MH and 662 BiS OH. At least sim wise, how that plays out in the real world may not be as much of a benifit.

Actually, I just checked, stacking x2 Ascendance gives double the buff, exactly the same as Ascendance + Writhing Armor Banding.

** So for example with 1 Ascendance equipped on my main hand I get 890 to one random stat at 10 stacks.*

** With 2 Ascendance on both weapons, I get 1780 (8902=1780) to a random stat at 10 stacks.

** With Ascendance on one weapon and Writhing Armor Banding on my Chestpiece (for science!) I get 1780 (8902=1780) to a random stat at 10 stacks.

This means the two embellishments are interchangeable for those classes that use dual wield weapons.
