There’s a line in the IV Balance Druid Guide that confuses me:
- Cast a Wrath to finish as your current Eclipse ends. This lets you get immediately into the next Eclipse.
How does this work without casting two more Starfires? Thanks!
Think its just poorly worded and theyre trying to convey that if you launch a wrath at like the last second of an eclipse with latency and travel time itll have already counted towards 1 of the 2 wraths you need by the time the its ended, letting you get back into lunar eclipse faster if thats the one you want.

That makes more sense!
I guess you could do the same thing with a hard-casted Starfire when you’ve got less than 2.5s left of an eclipse. The eclipse will end just before the Starfire goes off and you’re already halfway to your next eclipse.
Yes, same principle. As long as the starfire lands outside of the eclipse. That said, it’s a minimal gain, and if you’re playing with any latency could end up hurting your dps.
