Newer player here… so I am on Shadowlands and just finished Night Fae campaign quests (9/9) - So today gonna finish Korthia and hopefully Zereth Mortis. Well, it just occurred to me, if I make an alt do I have to do from 1 - 9 full campaigns on all 3 of those again, quest by quest? Is there some skip but still have a bunch of quests I have to do on my alt? Or is there a skip where I am 9/9 on all campaigns and can just farm anima and grateful offerings?

You have to do it… there was a skip but it was extremely broken and to the best of my knowledge was removed rather then fixed.
It caused really bad progression errors on characters after sl.
duuuuuuuuuude… seriously? I have to go from 1/9 on all 3 (Korthia and ZM)to 9/9 again? Ugh, that is seriously crushing my motivation
I believe that’s been fixed. I just tried it a few days ago with a new 'toon and I was offered an option similar to the old “Threads of Fate” (the way you leveled alts when the expansion was new) where you level with world quests, dungeons, etc.
Give it a try. Create an alt, level it to 10 and you will be offered the Dragonflight quest. Go to Chromie, select Shadowlands, skip the intro and off you go.
