I have used askmrrobot and droptomizer and both tell me its about a 1.2% upgrade, yet the current bow i have is Wavecrawler spear gun 445 ilvl the tool tips say 435dps, last nite on lfr i got the 430 drop of the Whispering Elderrich bow which its tooltip says 376dps, just wondering, if i should drop the 445 435dps box for the 430 bow as both sims tell me the lower ilvl bow is an upgrade? is the bow really that much better?. sorry for the noob question, just seemed strange that a 15 ilvl higher item is worse?
Both Askmrrobot and droptomizer are looking at the total of the weapons DPS and the boost that will be given by the stats of the weapon.

Whispering Elderrich bow has Whispering Truth Corruption. If you could use such Corruption which you should, it’s way way better than your higher ilevel bow with no corruption. And Whispering Truth Corruption is among the best corruption for Range Hunters.
