Question on a weak aura or add on (or maybe it's in game)

I have mining and I can see the node on my mini map… is there an add-on or weak aura that shows where it is on my main screen? Like draws a line to it or adds a quest objective icon on the screen or something?

Handynotes or gathermate should have something for you. Perhaps tomtom for the routing.

Note, however, that for the big map, they will just display known spawn locations, not necessarily actual spawns.
Actual spawns are only detectable within a short range which is why they show on the mini-map instead of the big map.

FarmHud is probably the closest thing I can think of that’s working these days. It basically uses the minimap as an overlay (with the background removed). I haven’t tried it myself, so I can’t really speak to how well it works, but it’s something you can play around with.
