Hi guys, I have a 480 demon hunter and the only thing I enjoy doing on this character is tanking M+. I’ve read the guide about how to get the head enchant and I have the quest that tells me to collect 50 ‘things’ from the raid bosses. Is there any other way to do it? I really don’t wanna raid on him. Thanks in advance
need to do it on him but the item is a prem thing
once you use it it gets returned to the bags so you dont waste it
That’s the only way to my knowledge. You can knock it out in LFR within a week or two, can go in as dps if you don’t want to tank it.

so if I clear LFR/normal raid once or twice it will give me enough ‘coins’ to complete the quest ?

If you want the head enchant you have to do at least one full clear.
Idk if LFR will complete it.
Yeah, you only get the quest items from one difficulty per week, though.
At 480 your autoattacks will probably out dps some other players.
Either do the raid or don’t have the helm enchant

Nope, you have to raid to get the enchant, you have to also kill several bosses for items as well, at this point it should only take 2-3 clears thanks to the catchup we have.

I haven’t raided this expansion either. I just went in full Yolo on my vengeance DH 2-3 resets on LFR to finish the quest. With your gear you don’t have to worry about any tank tactics.
If you want an easier time on the Keeper boss, you can jump and glide just before he does the knockback and you just keep on gliding and don’t get yeeted.
LFR works as well. I did it in 2 clears on an alt recently, and got it completed.
actually I have another question . does it matter if I do it on LFR or normal ? will each boss give me the same amount regardless of the raid difficulty ?

Do LFR first wing to make sure you get the item from Gnarlroot to start the quest. Then finish up LFR. I don’t think one clear will get you all 50, my alts get anywhere from 25-30 I believe. Then go into Normal and do a clear. You’ll have all of them before normal is done.

Doesn’t matter, I did lfr on my dk, then same day went and did normal the same day and had the enchant before we finished, think its’ 3-5 per boss, need 50 total
Well of course you don’t waist it, it’s a head enchant, not a belt enchant!
