On any new character I make I can always transmog the tabard from the Wild Hunt, however, despite having gotten Venthyr’s and Ascended, I cannot transmog those on new characters or even max level ones. Why is it that I can only transmog the wild hunt tabard, or is it a glitch that I can do it at all?
It might be bound to the covenant? That’s my best guess. If they’re in the same covenant and still can’t do it then I’m assuming some other requirement isn’t being met.
I’m on a brand new character I made, a level 11 Troll Priest and she is nowhere near getting to SL content, and yet I can transmog the Wild Hunt tabard but none of the others, and infact, all my newer characters or ones under level 50 can only transmog the Wild Hunt one but none of the others, it’s so bizarre :o
hmm… I wonder if that’s a bug, or the tabards are different some how? Well’p this one has me stumped. 
Same here, because I’m not even renown 80 with any of them. My mage here is the highest at 79 with venthyr and is exalted, my priest is at 72 with bastion and is exalted, and then my hunter, who’s exalted with wild hunt, is only at 57 and yet that’s the only tabard I can see/transmog on any new characters.
Bumping this because it’s still confusing me and hoping a gm could respond and clear things up.
It’s probably a bug because the other SL tabards have level requirements.
The wild hunt isn’t covenant specific, it’s just a regular faction that you can farm rep for regardless of what covenant you’re in. That’s why you can use the rewards account wide.
Same with The Undying Army, The Ascended, etc.
