Question: Has Faction Change been 'fixed' in 8.3?

On release of 8.3 we saw a ton of problems with legendary cloak quests and the progression system being bugged for those who opted to Faction Change. Apparently faction changing also reset the entire war campaign.

Has anybody used the Faction Change service in the last few weeks? If so;

  1. Does the cloak progression save over the transfer? I see no reason why this needs to reset. The cloak questline should be neutral and not tied to H or A.
  2. Does the War Campaign progress save? Let’s assume the character being transferred has fully completed the WC of current faction.

I have (as you can see some of my M+ runs are from me as a Horde DH) .

Cloak questline saves as well as progression. War Campaign does not.

(Also Alliance War Campaign is boring…)

Agreed about the Alliance questline. Horde has a lot more depth in it overall.
