Question for those who completed Flawless master (torghast layer 12 flawless all wings)

Yep. Super duper simple:

  • Do it as a team since is more people breaking jars and doing puzzles and more chances to land a broken combo. Which leads to…

  • Make sure to get a Shaman. Shaman powers are busted, AND they can land into giving everybody perma Bloodlust.

You don’t need 250 ilvl, don’t worry.

Yeah its not too bad, just gotta figure out a targeted anima build. For paladin I found venthyr prot to be good for this since you get rolling immediately after getting the grey power that lowers ashen cd by 3 second per hammer. Its rough until that point though, but I imagine its like that for most classes. It helps to have a grasp on bonus point stuff like saving some phantasma for that bonus and always killing a vendor.

Make sure to cap blessing and curse removals asap those are some of the strongest until the free anima powers at the end.

  1. Try to 100% save stuff but the purple powers make it faster.

only thing I’ve done twice now is use a cell on a broker… always annoying

i got it with 230ish ilvl, didnt have box maxed either but it def helps A LOT.
Not dying, not getting any epic powers, getting 5 obleron powers and always killing a boker alongside destroying all urns and getting all souls and doing all the side objectives will most of the time resulting in 200 points.

I was around 230+ ilvl last August when the last layer 12 left to complete for the achievement I think Coldheart was on the rotation. I built my anima powers around solo play since I don’t run Torghast with a group. Knowing how the scoring system works is important to get 200 or more. In my case the Annihilator bonus (kill last boss in under 20 seconds) and Daredevil bonus (kill two elites within 10 seconds of each other) carried my score because my time component of it clearing each floor or at or slower than par.

I did it around i240 and it was pretty easy.

You MUST max out the Box of Many Things. S2 Torghast was designed around it being maxed out.

You MUST realize that TG sucks, it depends WAYYYYY too much on RNG, and that some maps will make it really easy, while some maps are practically impossible. If you’re on a run where the map sucks, you’re better off to reset.

You MUST make the most out of your Empowered Bonus.

As other have said, the timer is, like, 5% of your overall score. It’s the most misleading thing about “timed” TG in that the timer doesn’t really matter. Ignore it. Focus on the stuff that does matter.

Keep at it! It’s not that hard.

You can, but at lower ilvls, class/spec + power rolls + player skill matters more than at recommended ilvl.

Not really. Myself and others had Flawless done well before the box was fully unlocked, and that was at around ilvl 230 to boot.

This is your example of a trait that increases your chance at 5 gems by a significant amount?

For squishies and less geared sorts? Yes this is a nice bonus. Is it something I’d prioritize getting ASAP? No but it’s better than some of the other perks (including the auto loot which is pure convenience).

Outside of overpulling, elites are the ones that are going to wreck your day and there are a few elites that even I respect enough to prioritize burning down and/or paying attention to.
