Well, none of that is government related. And if it was, it would violate the constitution.
Also, the statistics and forecasts that really agree with where you are âsteering.â
And having a political party co-opt an entire religion was probably a bad call if you were actually trying yo generate growth instead of continuing decline

See here is the thing I donât get about people scream âgovernmentâ all the time. If provate interests have grown to the ppwer they can effectively strip you of your livelihood and actively censor speech.
Who cares about the government? It seems a flimsy sheild to hide behind. Of course this all goes beyond a video game. Just something I muse about.
Though some things failed in a vote and the supreme court pushed throughâŚ
Luckily with the free market there are plenty of alternativesâŚwhich is the entire point.
People didnt like how Facebook/Twitter was being moderated, so Truth and Parlor were created.
Similarly, people didnt like post-Elon twitter so now Bluesky and Mastadon are growing.
So outside of the government, no private entity can prevent you from speaking or really strip you of your livelihood outside what the standard labor laws allow

Speaking of things changing Zuck/Facebook has announced they are stopping the âfact checkingâ they had in place and moving to a community note system similar to Twitterâs.

I will never truly understand a person such as yourself. You craft the finest of rods. You measure and test it carefully, check its wait. Then you beg for it not to be used once it changes hands.

Think its just the usual annoyances. Ive gotten upwards of 30 flagged posts in a day before and they get restored.
Its playground bullying but it gets to some people. Iâm usually bemused by it but I admit when threads turn into full sized gifs being spammed I wish they would clamp down on it.

People know it happens. I donât know why anyone tries to lie and say it doesnât happen. Maybe theyâre trying to push some propaganda or help conceal the truth? But to what gain?

My guess is just wanting control over the community. I was here when the first one was banished.
We didnât used to let terrible players call themselves casuals for an example.
They can see the old wards fade, they only exist because of zealous enforcement.

I mean that quoted post is almost 4 years old, so I donât understand the point I guess? It contains nothing we donât already know.
It mentions that âifâ someone abuses the flagging system, they can be punished. It doesnât admit that itâs a rampant issue, so Iâm just confused as to how this is some sort of âgotchaâ moment.
