Better to just let someone who upsets you drive around you than floor it and cut them off. I’m not for forum road rage.
I got more RL issues than needing someone upset with me. And if I make a bad statement or incorrect information, the more knowledgeable ones will point it out.
And rather than get my knickers in a twist, I accept and move on.

they dont sockpuppet as far as I would have seen…as you all just said…it only takes a few flags to do the job.
Thats what they were doing over there when I was there before I quit over their letting the very problem posters here join the discord.
I believed we were going there to get away from the drama, but instead the drama was literally going there.
I complained, was pretty much told to stifle and I quit.
Most of the discussions there were about this forum, posts that needed to be flagged and a bit of hate towards some members.
depends what server you are playing on. RP servers aren’t CRZ in old content. I have literally leveled up to 60 on some without seeing another player in the open world. I don’t complain about that generally it is great mostly but in some areas the mob density is a problem even when they are all spawned and just sitting there.
The method I was thinking of has been possible since as far back as 2001 for faking a screenshot of a web forum. (correction: 1997)
Nobody said they were automated. A lot of the posts that were removed did not violate any rule. Even if a post is reviewed by a person, that does not mean the person who did it is “all there”.
Exactly. “Reviewed by human” does not mean “reviewed by unbiased person with solid judgement.”
from my experience, that is the choice…which is why Ive resorted to filing tickets from now on…maybe they can start taking a harder look at this forum.

I used to know a player (many years back) he copied and made a template of the old forums so he can troll the hell out of people, making claims of anything he wanted, with fake screenshots. These days it’s quite easy to mimic a site.
Correct. That’s the key that people who say “it’s not automated, it’s reviewed by a human” conveniently always leave out.

It was just a rage post asmonbalding used to try and rile up his cult of asmonites. I had to deconvert a couple of buddies because they legit thought addons and WA did your rotation and moved your charecter for you becauae thats what asmonbalding lord of roaches preaches. (Sorry i have fun making him sounds like some elder god haha)
Ive noticed patterns over time in here that the more biased ones seem to USUALLY be around late in the week and over the weekend many times.
Posts can be flag bombed early in the week that break no rules and get restored, but that same post, if its flag bombed on a friday or saturday, gets deleted.
Not always the case but a long running pattern has existed for a while.
oh yeah, it’s one of the reason Blizzard refuses to accept screenshots as evidence of innocence (or wrongdoing) with someone submits an appeal or ticket.

False. Only posts that violate rules are removed. Sometimes they will prune threads if large sections are deemed trolling.

If a post is removed, all replies are sometimes removed to try and avoid it looking like someone’s talking to nobody.
But only posts that break the rules result in a penalty.
