I have a question for the forum moderators: why do you allow the same 4-5 individuals to consistently bully others who post? They are able to start arguments, make inappropriate comments, troll off-topic, and use name-calling, yet the moderators don’t seem to take action. Could you please explain why this behavior is allowed to continue, and what can be done to ensure a more respectful environment for everyone?

just put them on ignore - literally once you do that they rarely interject themselves into your discussions. Or you could also switch posting characters if you have them stalking your posts.

i heard theres a forum discord and the people there regularly go flock to different threads they deem problematic or they disagree with.

Not so much a “forum discord” but I’m in 3 WoW discords and 2 of them, people coordinate mass forum flags on people they disagree with or don’t like. Tons of posts have been removed this way, most of them broke no rules.

Here there are not just infantile bullies, but literal death cultists here preaching and gaslighting and ganging, which is against ToS.

I am leaving this forum as I should have NEVER used it, and I suggest anyone who wishes to maintain their sanity to do the same.

The truth is the game is suffering because of the community, but also because of decisions motivated by anti human ideology, under qualified or ill motivated psychology and zero respect for player time and money paid.

I’ll try to enjoy the game, but quit if I can’t. 12 years, enough is enough. It’s just sad my favorite game and childhood hobby had come to this. Another simulacrum of its former self, like anything else these idea paradites touch. Villification of individuality, creativity, integrity, purpose and esteem.

Nothing good comes from social media. I’ll keep my energy for the game from now on, and leave those who have nothing better to do in their lives to bully here. I’m done fighting. A seasoned warrior chooses their battles carefully.

No wiser words said here.

I’m honestly surprised they keep these forums running, must be to avoid bad PR or someone high up still values it to some degree (most likely as feedback for when they really, really screw up something in game if I had to guess).

I’m not. I don’t participate in this. The discords are not created for this sole purpose. They’re some of the most populated WoW discords available but people amidst discussions still do this.

I only participate in the general WoW discussion.

We’ve confirmed some people sockpuppeting and self-liking, so that’s not really an invented problem.

Just this past weekend, we saw OP use 14 characters all in the same thread.

its been going on for a few years now. always the same names. i just started screenshotting and sending tickets since nothing is being done in here about it. I suggest the same with anyone else who’s tired of it.

precisely it, oddly if you name the discord your post will be deleted if if the discord group doesnt flag bomb it. Odd given no one is “calling out” any wow player by naming a discord, go figure.

lol…too bad one of them literally admitted I was over there on that discord and yes, they DID have issues as I described but magically they started behaving. Do try to keep up.
