Question: Class Unlocked Transmog?

There is a cloak from the death knight’s “Cauldron Champion’s Encore” appearace that I would like to wear on my warlock. I understand we can collect any item to add to our warband transmog system and I understand you can’t wear plate on a clothie. This particular cloak seems to come from the catalyst by converting an eligible S2 cloak.

The part that confuses me is the cloak labeling. They’re not designated as cloth, mail, leather or plate. Just “Back”. If I go to my warlock tmog collection and try to search for its name, it doesn’t show up. It’s part of the “Encore” DK appearance, but isn’t strictly part of a tier set.

That being said, if I level a DK all the way to 80, get a S2 cloak and put it in the catalyst to get the appearance I want, is it then possible to wear that cloak transmog on a Warlock, even though it doesn’t specifically mark itself as a “Plate” cloak?

Some items are class specific. That is why i select both ‘usable’ and ‘upgrade’ in the filter, when buying armor at auction. Some items are also faction specific.

Bear in mind there’s likely 4 appearances for it from LFR to Mythic, you’d also need to convert at the level you want.

Does appear to be DK limited as Mythosaur says. Guess you’ll have to be the best class :innocent:.
