I abandoned a warrior class quest because my log was getting full and it was red for me. Now im high enough to start getting my WW Axe but the warrior trainer doesn’t have any quests for me.

I’m human and I got the quest from Stormwind.
The quest you got in stormwind was to go talk to a troll in the hinterlands/alterac mountains (geography in that area is a little sketchy), that troll gave you a list of stuff to gather (liferoot, troll tusks, elemental charms). Thats the guy you need to talk to
Did you do your zerk stance quest? Its a pre-req for the whirlwind quest if I remember right. It may be grey and no longer appear on questie or over their head, but it should still come up when you click on a class trainer in a capital city.
i only did the warrior quest after level 10 or something and then got one that was red and abandoned it. SW trainer doesn’t have a quest for me.
Do you remember fighting in a tournament on an island near Ratchet in Kalimdor to get your Berserker stance? If not, perhaps you visited the island to turn in the bread crumb but later dropped the actual tourney quest. Which would mean your quest is waiting at the island.
nah man i haven’t made it that far. I did the warrior quest that made me travel around from redridge, sw, and I think westfall.
Are you level 30 yet? Thats when this chain starts.
im 27 but i figured i would be able to pick up the quest that I abandoned. should i just wait to ding 30 and check?
For the zerker/whirlwind chain yes. If I had to guess what you dropped was an optional warrior quest for a chest piece.
It sounds like the quest you had was for the armor (Fire-Hardened Mail or whatever). The Cyclonian WW quest is available at 30. Make sure you do the Fray Island quest once its available so that you can get your third stance.

Look up the questline for “Rethban Gaunlet” if you want to see where you may have dropped that chest piece quest. The chest piece is pretty nice at upper 20s, but almost useless by early 40s unless you have a macro for switching breastplates out for the rage proc.
Yeah, I like to collect things like that and hold on to them, but realistically there’s a lot of good options for blue-quality mail chest-pieces in that level range.
