I thought I read that you could now enable / disable Warmode from any rested area.
Did I read wrong? Or was it not implemented in 8.1? I went to enable it on my Demon Hunter, who is in an Inn in Tiragarde Sound and it says I need to be in Stormwind =(
I thought it was an bn option as well. I had to go back to orgrimar to disable it to help out my wife’s paladin
You can disable in any rested area, to enable, you need to be in your capital city aka SW/Org.
It was implemented so people being camped or outnumbered in an unfavorable shard could turn off warmode without having to go all the way back to SW/Org.
What it considers to be a rest area doesn’t seem to apply to inns throughout the world, only specific hub FPs.

Why so you can turn it off and on as you please.
Getting ganked? Turn it off, finish your WQ and turn it straight back on.
So what do you do? Get an item with a short CD to transport you back to your major city, set your hearth to an in locally and when you want it off and on it’s a simple task.
