Question about trinkets for BM Hunter

Bloodmallet shows Enforcer’s Stun Grenade, and Deteriorated Construct Core as being roughly the two best trinkets for either AoE or ST that’s readily available in keys. But I got a 298 Stone Legion Heraldry out of a loot chest, and I notice all the top BM Hunters are wearing it off of Murlok. All of theirs are 311 mythic versions however, so I duno if it’s strictly just simming better because of the ilvl being X higher.

Am I equipping the best trinkets I can be using right now, or would Stone Legion Heraldry be better than one of the two M+ trinkets I currently have equipped?

Also, are valor pieces going to be upgradable after the season ends this or next week? This is just an alt but was wanting to 298 my gear as much as possible for DF leveling.

Stun grenade is good if you can’t count on other SLH users being in your party. Stun grenade also got buffed significantly. If you can’t get a mythic raid ilvl trinket it’ll beat most things.

Of course, the real answer is to sim yourself for best results.

there’s also sometimes a difference between what works best for the top players in a +28 compared to what works best for average players in a +21 pug

looking at what the top players are doing is valuable but shouldn’t be done in a vacuum!
