Will we be potentially see them come back for the next anniversary or was it a one and done kind of thing?
They said the Anniversary Vendor rewards will not be coming back for at least five years.

well dang that sucks thanks for the info.
To clarify a bit better, the only vendor that was implied to be “once every 5 years” was specifically the one who sold the old Anniversary rewards (like the Core Hound mount, Polar Bear Cub, etc.)
The only word they’ve given on the armor sets is “they’ll return for future Anniversary events,” in a separate statement from one about the 5-years guy.

I pokemoned them, caught every one.
I did not earn enough medalions for mounts, but I did snag all the mogs.

Another thing that definitely indicates a return is that there is a achievement worth 5 points for purchasing one. 3 months later, and it is not a Feat of Strength. It seems the event now has an evergreen set of activities like holidays do.
