I understand I’m definitely going to get scammed or even banned somehow but I am curious about trading my ERA gold for SoD gold. Is there a safe way to do this? Is it even allowed? Honest Questions…
I have a very Geared Tank on Era and I love running raids and since GDKP is allowed on ERA I can make gold in the most fun way I know how. I’d like to trade that gold to my SoD character somehow.
Run GDKP in one version, convert gold received to other version where GDKP is violating TOS.

transferring gold is “unsupported”, there’s a chance you will get banned for it if the person you transfer with is caught up in any sort of shenanigans, its technically legal however
It’s a grey area. It’s not explicitly forbidden, the only comment is those types of transactions are unsupported/no cs if you get scammed.
When they first banned GDKPs in SoD, a lot of traders were catching bans, to the extent the major discord (WoW Market) shut down their trading channels. They have since reopened them, and the risk seems significantly less than before but still there.
Using a high rep trader, active/max level characters on both versions for both parties trading are recommended, probably some other best practice type stuff as well but I haven’t traded between versions in a while.
