I know how to sim my character but how do I use that info to determine which stats I need to adjust? I see the stat weights and everything, but is there some info that im missing that suggests which stats I should be going for?
You could download pawn to use those stat weights in game to show which item will give the best mathematical gain.
Easier than pen and paper.
What are you using to Sim yourself? Raidbots is the general go-to I believe
Which should give you something like this for stat weights
Intellect: 2.08
Haste: 1.55
Critical Strike: 1.52
Versatility: 1.43
Mastery: 1.40
That’s a sim for this toon and it’s telling me roughly how much damage I get per point of each stat currently
So given the above intellect is my best stat granting about 2.08 DPS per point and mastery is my worst granting about 1.4
You can decide which stats are most valuable from there but keep in mind the weights will change as you change gear so you’ll have to check it reasonably regularly

Ive only ever used simcraft to sim myself. Completely forgot about this website you linked. Thats really helpful tho thanks for the reply! I didnt know that the stat weights in the sims equated to damage per second. I thought they were just calculating the percentage of your stats relative to your gears overall ilvl.
Ahh, I see! I’m not sure how Simcraft do it, but Raidbots have a little note on the results indicating what the numbers sort of mean (in this case the conversation to DPS)
