I have been away from the game for years now, so not sure how this works. i really dislike the new flying so i want to finish all the quests in the xpac so that I can use the old style. my question is this. do i need to finish all the quests on just one toon, or can i do like one zone on the warrior, one on the shaman, and one on the druid and it counts towards the achievement? or do i need to do every quest on just one toon totally?
Although pathfinder and all its sub-achievements are account-wide, I believe you have to complete the zone stories in order once before you unlock the ability to jump to your zone story of choice on alts.
(If for some reason, my understanding of all the unlocks is incorrect, check Bran at the little explorer’s guild building - that’s where the “pick a zone” map for alts will be when it does get unlocked)
Yea, its bet to just knuckle under and do this. Since it’s a quest chain, you can’t really hop around to any benefit on other toons.
Thankfully, its a short journey.
okay, thanks for the help!
So, it’s tricky because the answer to this question is actually NO.
BUT, technically yes.
So you will most likely hit 80 on your first toon way before you finish all the questslines required for the achievement. If you pedal to the metal the main campaign, current experience bonuses will have you finish the campaign before hitting 80, which would mean you would need to back track to complete the questlines for the meta or get on another toon if you wished to complete the achievement of that area.
This however, is very inefficient. Best way is to clean everything on the first trip even if you hit 80 on the third zone, and plow through the rest until finished, meaning match these zone achivs with the campaign so you are not revisiting the same zone multiple times. That would open up things better for all your alts.
