So, I just watched Kelani’s video on YouTube about the profession changes in Dragonflight and I’ve been keeping tabs on them, since they’ve been in production. I’ve been told, through information passed on by Kelani and other WoW newstubers, that we’ll be able to craft mythic raid quality gear, come Dragonflight. Obviously, it will be painstaking to make this gear, but it’s an option for people who want the gear, but don’t want to raid.
It could take as much as a month, maybe even two months, just to craft a single piece of mythic raid gear, if that’s what it takes to make it feel fair. If that’s the case, I might end up just making a weapon and calling it there. But this is one thing I was curious about, that I was hoping anyone who has tested professions on beta might know the answer to?
I have this thought, when I think about professions going toe-to-toe with mythic raids for the best gear. Are we going to need a specific reagent for this gear, that only drops in mythic raids? Like, it’s just a form of bad luck protection and not an actual substitute for raiding? Does anyone know? If no info on that has been posted anywhere, what are your thoughts on it?
I really hope that’s not going to be the case, because I mean come on. We all know, if it’s not the case, it will so freaking hard to craft this gear, by the time you get a full set, we’ll be in a whole new season and it’ll be invalidated anyway. Just let casual/solo players have this option to feel strong, even if all we’re doing is gathering!
