When this procs, it lights up on the action bar, but there is no other indicator. There no buff or debuff, there’s no UI indicator that you get with some spell procs. I’m try to make a Weak Aura that indicates when this pops, but I can’t find anything to base it on.
Unfortunately the build they pushed to pre-patch has the aura for Icefury hidden so you cant see if you have a second stack. They have fixed this in the beta though. WA wise you basically can just make an aura tracking Frost Shock with a trigger for Frost Shock itself (CD/Charge), a trigger for the spell Icefury (CD/Change), and a trigger for the aura Icefury. Thats how mine is setup.

Yeah it’s really annoying not knowing if you’ve reached the 2 Icefury stacks or when it will expire and revert to Frost Shock.
Also annoying that you can’t use the empowered Frost Shocks if you have another Icefury proc; during Ascendence there’s a good chance I’m overcapping Icefury procs, but I can’t use an Icefury and save the empowered Frost Shocks for after Ascendence, because subsequent Icefury procs will prevent me from using those Frost Shocks. Not sure if the optimal rotation is to use Icefury and Frost Shocks during Ascendence or after. Or maybe Icefury without Frost Shocks during Ascendence to proc Fusion of the Elements off an Earth Shock? Not trying to sim till after expansion launch.

I’ve got multiple weakauras setup to remind myself to do the fire and lightning spell for Fusion of Elements before hitting the second Icefury.
Well with the recent changes, they decided to walk that back and intentionally hid the nature and fire buff component.
Well I won’t be picking that talent if that’s how it is…
