I’m leveling a Fury Warrior alt, currently level 60. I’m planning to play Mountain Thane .
Maybe this is just a low-level thing, but I rarely get opportunities to use Execute . It always feels like I have something more important to press.
On top of that, I’ve noticed there are a lot of talents that affect Execute . I assume those talents increase its priority over my other abilities?
Or are the Execute talents mainly intended to be used with Slayer ?
I’m honestly having a hard time seeing the appeal of Execute as Mountain Thane .

Thane doesn’t focus on Execute, it’s more of a supplement to Rampage, Bloodthirst, and Thunder Clap. While leveling, you’re also prone to overkill things below 20%, so there’s even less opportunity to use it.
Conversely, Execute is Slayer’s main focus thanks to increased Sudden Death procs.
Arch pretty much nailed it. Execute is mainly for Slayer.
You’ll probably want Slayer instead if you want more opportunities to press Execute. On Thane, it’s just another thing to throw into the churn for faster Rampages once the enemy gets low enough. You’ll still get Sudden Deaths on Thane, too, of course, but fewer, since Slayer’s Strikes will build to free extra Sudden Death procs.
