Can a Disc run dgs as DPS ?

No. But there was this one disc priest that made it a challenge to DPS like a regular dps as disc.

How did he do ? A friend an old disc priest thinking about coming back ,would like to do some tw dgs as dps before changing to healing .What do you think ?
No, but you can just queue as healer, and hit top dps healing. I see it happen often enough. The sclaing at low levels works in your favor.
I’ve seen a lvl 40 disc do 40 mil single target in lfr brd. Eventually your damage is gonna drop off and you’ll just be healing with it.
Well, this was back in Shadowlands, he did pretty well. But he had to customize his whole build to be purely dps or something, I don’t remember, this was years ago. I think he streamed it.
Imagine the baseline Disc talent at the top of the tree being a choice node.
You could give up Atonement for x% damage increase and play dps.
Would be great , seems like dps are more in demand than heal .
