so i’m leveling through legion in chromie time. can i leave chromie to tackle the legion raids solo in the patch content and then return to chromie time or nah
You wouldn’t have the stats or the power to solo the raids. Unfortunately the only way to experience any of the raids like that is to lock your xp at the appropriate level and form a group with characters of a similar level, or wait for that expansions timewalking event to come around
i should be able to solo normal at level 59 no?
It’s hard to give a definite answer with how differently everything scales now.
All you have to lose is time, so give it a shot

I was doing something similar to this for a while with a character in TBC. The idea was to do as much as possible with the same character in each previous expansion in order to build a “history” as it were, with that character. Legion stuff scales to 45 last I checked, so locking your XP at 59 might be a bit of a challenge doing it, but depending on the class, it should be doable.

if i go past chromie cap and am forced out can i still continue where i left off in the expansion i was leveling in
Everything will be trivial and you’ll one shot everything, but yeah you can do that.
Also a quick amendment to what I said before: Emerald Nightmare, and Nighthold should be completely doable on normal. Not sure about TOS, but Antorus might give you an issue or three.

You can queue for the LFR versions in Dalaran, insta-queues solo if that helps your goal.
