Hello! Maybe any of you can help with this question…
I’m a player returning to WoW after a three-year break and I’ve got a bit of a dilemma. Last night, I managed to unlock Adventure Mode with my main character (yay!), but I’m facing a snag with one of my alts.
Here’s the thing: I had already started a few quests with this alt before unlocking Adventure Mode. Now, I understand that Adventure Mode allows alts to bypass the initial campaign in Dragonflight, which is fantastic news. The prospect of going through the three isles again isn’t particularly appealing, considering it might lead to burnout.
But here’s my worry: Did starting a few quests on my alt before unlocking Adventure Mode disqualify it from skipping the campaign? I work full-time, so the idea of spending additional days replaying content I’ve just completed doesn’t sound ideal.
I’m hoping there’s still a way to use Adventure Mode to skip the rest of the campaign on my alt. If anyone has insights or has been in a similar situation, your advice would be greatly appreciated.
In hindsight, I probably should’ve waited to start those quests, but at the time, I wasn’t aware of the skip option post-main character completion. It feels a bit punishing to miss out on this shortcut just because of a few early quests!
Thanks in advance for any help or guidance you can offer!
Edit: For context, I am right up to “For the Benefit of the Queen” quest.
Edit 2: After finishing the Chapter with Alexstrasza a Bronze Dragon allowed me to skip the quests I think (because the Campaign Stuff disappeared from my log) – Not sure if this is accurate all the time, but if anyone wants to add to this. But I think that did it!
