- Lore master rewards are underwhelming
- Quests give around 20G and 4% xp
- Every quest feel the same
- 95% of quests gives no rewards, not even a green item.
You are much better of just spamming instances.
And by the way my HS is on cool down I’ll just take the other HS to the city that just blew up in the sky, then I’ll take 4 portals just to get back to Dornogal.

Its been that way for awhile. I do questing on 1 toon and then level the rest through side activities or weekly events (Time walking)

IDK about you, but I just do what I enjoy, not what is the fastest route somewhere.
I’m enjoying questing. If you enjoy just doing instances, do that. But I feel like this is one of the best quest experiences the game ever put out. Reminds me a lot of WoD.
I did notice that the main storyline didn’t reward much, but the side quests kept me geared the way up.

My Chromie Time characters receive more gold rewards from quests than my 80.

You still have to do all the story quests in all the zones to get Pathfinder and WQ’s unlocked. So even if you level capped before finishing isle of dorn, you still gotta do them if its your first run.

Theres so many different types of quests in tww idk how u have this opinion… there are quest types I’ve never done before. jump on the cracked earth. soldiers lining up and u have to give them their weapons… cooking quest in hallo fall… playing tag with the orphan children. honestly I feel like u didn’t do the quests.

If you aren’t reading text dialogue, then quests might feel similar. But, then you aren’t getting the story, so what’s the point in playing either way?

I’ve been complaining about multiple versions of Dalaran for a while now. I think it is absolutely ridiculous.
I had “The Harbinger” quest in my log also, and couldnt finish it for 3 days in part because I wasn’t finding the right Dalaran, and also the pre-release event quest conflicted.
Questing has been the same since the old Dungeons and Dragons days
There are only so many things you can do. It’s always a variation of →
Kill 10 rats
Save the damsel in distress
Escort the noble back to town
Kill the big bad guy
Gather resources for the town
Or some combination of the above
Awesome quests!
-Play tag with children
-Cook food for real soldiers
-Give weapons to fighters
And who says feminism is dead? LOL.

There are people ingame that are lore and achievement focused, its not all about kill kill kill, gear gear gear.

I feel terrible for players of whom are solely interested in the rewards. It seems like such a shallow journey with arbitrary roadblocks in every direction.

They have overdone the “pull this vine texture from 12 years ago” quests in TWW, though.
Yeah the quests in this expansion were very bland and uninspired. Most have nothing to do with anything, like you’re collecting wax for some random kobolds or something.
Blizzard used to make engaging quest chains. Just compare anything here to Suramar, and that was like 10 years ago. They’ve gone backwards.

There’s always a meta. The meta can be wrong, or change without warning. If you chase the meta, then everything else feels dead.
And if you rely on the meta to get things done, you will burn out, and you will not find fun unless you really like the meta you’ve prescribed to.
I do questing for XP between dungeons, and get significant rewards for them a lot.
By the sounds of it, you’re not better off spamming dungeons because you hate it.
I was able to reach 77 through the campaign then I had to do instances.
I try to be the high stakes guy when at season and the achievment/lore/explorer guy in free time. Awesome experience and the right way to play the game.

I got a bit bored and collected all the battlepets
Don’t forget to smell the … roses.
with 5% bonus xp from warband mentor i was getting 12k xp per quest at 79 while the total amount was 440k i don’t know the exact math but thats a lot of quests
I tend to be the working on main story only to find I’m now playing Pokémon, fishing, and skinning simulator before making my way back to what I started off doing.
The Main Story.
