WqW dabbled in horror back then, truly awful things happened.
it’s more the power of friendship and you go girl stuff…
I’m abrasive with someone who read my quite reasonable arguments and accused me of trolling? Yes, I am actually.
Just because 2-3 people are rude to me simultaneously and I don’t take it sitting down doesn’t make me the problem. It just reflects poorly on this forum.
Looks like all these arguments are hard to keep up with
No, starting a conversation with me in such a manner despite me not having said anything to you only reflects poorly on you. Had you talked me normally, I’d have never responded to you the way I did. But you know what? If you’re feeling stressed out or attacked, then I’ll apologize for my tone in hopes it helps you feel better. It’s just a forum and ruining someone’s mood over it is unproductive and achieves nothing
Or Snowpine can’t read more than two lines out of any given post.
It happens, passion and all that.
Right. This is the sort of thing you want me to engage earnestly with.
I checked it a few months back just to see if it was still around and I’m glad it is.
You can’t engage earnestly with it. When you tried for a single post, your logic was full of holes. You seem to be the type of person who realizes that they don’t have an argument, and instead of just admitting that, you make a bad faith accusation that the other party is just trolling.
This is very poor behavior generally, and reflects poorly on you.
Just like you feel no need to “earnestly” engage with what you call “trolling” I don’t feel the need to be polite to people who behave like you do. Sorry, not sorry.
Oh, and don’t bother responding if you don’t have anything to say to this:
Correct, because it’s ridiculous.
It’s also impossible to engage earnestly with anyone who assumes nothing else they’ve said was read simply because someone doesn’t quote it on a forum. What do you want me to do, cover every sentence?
Point it out.
Word salad about my character, presumed from my unwillingness to play your silly little game.
Same as the above.
I haven’t told you how to act. I control only myself.
I’ll do so anyway, though the irony of this after the quote I replied to before is not lost on me.
Do you feel heard, now?
/10char…
That is one of your posts, not one of mine.
Its a post of mine pointing out the holes in your logic that you never bothered to try and argue.
Also, you accusing me of word salad is a second example of you misusing a logical fallacy.
What, this?
I don’t respond to blatantly incorrect statements.
Not only are Nerubians there no longer influenced by C’thun (nor any of them, since they’re derivative, not direct) but the whole reason we got so involved is because of what happened with Ansurek and her ascended.
Yeah no. It isn’t incorrect at all. The black blood that is found under Khaz Algar is strongly implied to be the blood from C’thun’s corpse that was released into the cavern system when Sargeras stabbed his sword through Sillithus.
The ascended Nerubians are not empowered by the void lords, they’re being empowered by the leftover energy from C’thun.
You seem to think you know the story better than I do, but you don’t.
Which is great, and all, but the Nerubians are distinct from the Qiraji. Which you know, since you Googled pretty much everything you’ve said to me thus far without even trying to read into any of the sources.
The ascended are Xalatath’s creation. Not C’thun’s.
You just don’t like being wrong, which you are.
Just so you feel heard, here’s the rest of your post:
Nobody brought up the Qiraji. We’re talking about the Nerubians. The black blood in Khaz Algar is flowing from C’thuns Corpse due to the sword stabbing Silithus. The Qiraji have nothign to do with it.
Xalatath is helping to guide the evolution but the energy being used is C’thun’s black blood. In fact, she’s harvesting the energy after the ascended are killed. This is stated in the quest campaign at max level. She’s enthusing the ascended with C’thun’s energy and then letting them get killed to put the released energy into the Dark Heart. The energy isn’t coming from her.
Black blood, a term used to describe old god blood since Wrath.
And I’m not googling at all. You know why? Because I’ve been a WoW lore nerd for fourteen years now, I don’t need to google anything about WoW unless its an obscure topic I’ve forgotten the details of.
You are displaying massive Dunning Kreugar syndrome and it’s pretty amusing that you think I’m trolling when you aren’t even up to date on WoW’s story.
True, but you seem to be under the impression they’re comparable, despite being distinct.
There’s a reason they’re distinct.
Presumably you can make these connections, since you’re so versed in the lore and all.
They are comparable. Qiraji and Nerubians both evolved from the Aqir. They were literally the same race in the past. The black blood of any old god is a power source for any of the races created by them.
So my bringing up the Qiraji was justified.
Making all of this not worth reading, as per usual with your superfluous posts:
Posted in full so you feel seen.
No, because you made it seem like you think I was mistaking the two, when I wasn’t. C’thun’s blood is being used to empower the nerubians. That’s what’s happening. Just admit you were mistaken.
