I’ve tried most of them. Paid for a few such as Zygor and Dugi guides but I’ve never paid for the Restedxp addon and was wondering if anyone has paid for it and has it been with the money? For those that wanna just say use X addon and why pay for it my reply is I have the money and don’t care about cost.
They’re worthless scams. The routes weren’t even good. I don’t know what the phenomenon is called when people think the paid version of something is inherently better but it’s legitimately paying to level slower or not significantly faster.

Well, I am pretty sure blizzard frowns on addon devs charging for the stuff so there’s also that.
They don’t frown on charging for addons. Zygor had been in business for decades.
They have helped a lot not with routing or pathing but with professions and achievements

They seem useless to me, and I’ve dabbled in an excessive amount of each.
restedxp is a scam and I know in classic (even hardcore) it encourages doing weird things like logout skips and everything.

Zygor doesn’t charge for the addon itself. So they found a loophole. They charge for the supplemental data.
But you really don’t need an addon to level. Just… level.

I’ve used them for years. I prefer the guides. I hear ya some people don’t like them. Me I like them.
Likely don’t have the staff and time to deal with it. Like most everything.

Using an addon to level in WoW is like using a strategy guide for Chutes & Ladders or Candyland.
