Just downloaded the newest version of Questie (v8.8.1) and I am unable to toggle my quest tracker to view or remove quests.
anyone else having any issues with this updated version?
Go talk to Questie, on their discord. WoW forums have nothing to do with this why would you post this here?

I just downloaded and older version and it works fine. The 8.8.1 version seems stuck/locked up. Not quite sure what it is.
Can’t log in at the moment, I’ll log in a bit to see what version I have.

I had this but I found the Tracker had moved off the screen area or was 1 character high.

I know that my nug energy and plater both conflicted with my questie causeing this. Try removing those addons from your folder (if you have them) and see if that helps.

That is far from true. I am on the questie discord and they are VERY good at replying, and helping. Thinking an addon issue is better complained about in a wow forum is nonsense rofl

I rolled back to an older version and fixed the date in the lua to ignore the popup.
Keep an old addon folder if you dont already and that way if you encounter an issue its simple as revert to older working version.

not me but i had an issue where i would take quests or have it tracked and then it just gets untracked. log even states it is tracking the quest. ended up just untracking it and tracking it again and no issues after that.
only major issue i have with addons rn is the LUA error because some addons are not working on PTR. only work around to it was basically just using addons that are working. otherwise i get a constant pop up error message and sometimes i can’t even manually exit the game because i close it and it just pops up again. reload ui, same issue.

Adding, some players don’t use discord, so there’s also that.

Yes, but this is a great example of a “Bullwinkle” player. Lives in the basement thinking everyone must be like him, or the world simply just does not make sense. And when he gets his knickers in a knot, he goes crying to the mods.

I probably would’ve SUGGESTED the Discord but still leaving the choice up to OP.
Like, “not really sure, but there is a Discord server for the addon, here it is! (links server) GL!”.

I did the same. Had to download an old version and it works fine. The new 8.8.1 just is frozen for me.
