Quest XP Gains

I was out of the game for a while and trying to jump back in. Since returning, I’m only receiving about 500-1000xp when I turn a quest in. The NPCs are at my level (59) so I assume I’m in the right area.

Am I in the wrong area?
Am I doing something wrong?

It would help to know exactly what zone you’re questing in. (And if you’ve got Chromie Time active.) There’s a lot of weird stuff when it comes to old content, so it’s hard to say what is going on without more specifics.
