There is some talk bout Add-ons. I am not sure but I think Quest Tracker is one but I need it. I love it. When I get lost doing a Zone I go there. I use WowHead, select Quest tracker and get my answer. I Love it. I can’t remember who told me about it. I was having problems progressing and did a whiney post on here. And I received the answer…Wowhead Quest Tracker. Anyway just wanted to say I need and Love the Quest tracker on WowHead.
That’s on a third party website. Blizzard can’t do anything about it: that tool isn’t going anywhere.
They are not removing or limiting any questing add-ons, and Wowhead isn’t an add-on.
I have no idea what quest helper add-ons are even needed in the modern game (I use one for Classic). The base UI already does most of what the questing add-ons I used would do anyway.
I actually turn off some of the quest guidance (the little diamond marker) sometimes because it trivializes the game too much. Instead of “questing,” I feel like I’m just following a diamond around the map.
I watched someone streamng thier WoW gameplay they had something called Zygot or something that practically handheld them every step of the way. It seemed a bit much for me but if it helps make confusing quest objectives a little easier to understand then good on them.
I’ll make an exception this time. You can keep your quest tracker.
Zygor does help speed up questing, mostly by saving you clicks when you’re turning in quests — although you still need to choose a reward when there’s a selection. It also follows a preset sequence of objective tracking and turn-ins.
When you don’t care about the stories and the quest text and just want to get thru leveling and hit max, Zygor is there for you. ![]()
Never heard of that, I just do the Quest Tracker. lose the bread crumb quests I can check there or When I look at Completion guide and see I am missing 3 quests I can check Quest tracker. That is what I use it for.
