I start the quest, but when I click on the resource he wants (ore), I get the “Adding” bar, but nothing else happens…the ore is not added and the quest does not progress. I have turned off all add-ons , abandoned the quest and got it again, and logged out and back in.

Same issue is happening for me, just can’t finish the quest rn I guess
Edit: I just realized I was trying to add ore when he was asking for coal because I didn’t notice the little pile of coal close to the forge. Trying to add the wrong thing leads to an adding bar that doesn’t throw so maybe make sure you are clicking the right thing.

This is happening for me also - I have turned off addons,restarted, reblogged, reloaded, dropped quest, picked it up, and still bugged.
Still broken. You would think this being part of the Earthen chain it would get more attention.
still stuck on this quest too. click on the ore and nothing happens

Omg, I’m an idiot, I was doing the same thing lol.
Still bugged in May 2025. Issues exactly as described above. no progress bar, no indication that the correct item is clicked.
