is there an addon that’ll read quest-text for me? the only one i’ve found is a tts one for people with disabilities, but i can’t find one with like, an actually pleasant voice. anybody know of any like that? i mean… i’m asking for immersion-sake, not for… whatever it is blizz worries will go wrong with knowing what’s happening in their game…
That would be a massive undertaking, I don’t think anything like that exists
Sometimes the text is so hard to read. I wonder if it is TOS to edit the fonts
Leatrix Plus will change the font size for you. It’s really nice.
well, in my case i just don’t wanna read. i’d rather listen to the quest text, than sit there reading it.
If the addon pulls from windows voices you may be able to install tts voice packs to windows then select the one you want in the addon.
Not 100% sure if it works.

I believe there’s an add-on called Immersive? I’m not sure it has voice but it turns the quest text into more of character dialogue and stuff. Getting all the quest text in the game voiced would be crazy hard to do unless they used a text-to-speech thingy.
Sadly I don’t know if there’s any that read text beyond a TTS addon.
I do like to use Storyteller, but that might not increase the font size enough, but if it does it’s a cute addon too. I hope this helps at least a bit.
