Just found this lovely bug as well, was running around in circles for 30 minutes trying to figure out if I was just blind or what on earth was going on.

July 2021 Just started this and still bugged! This quest needs to be fixed it’s part of the Campaign Progression!

Update: Reloaded the UI fixed the problem for me.

Still bugged. I can’t progress my covenant campaign. All the stewards are just standing unclickable and no new ones are spawning.

Why is this still a thing? Do I really need to wait 48 hours for a GM response to continue to progress through (required) content that came out 9 months ago???

FOUND A FIX

So, I found a work-around for this issue. Pull the guys that have the Stewards chained enough to make them run after you. The Stewards will chase them and will become clickable once they move. I was able to complete the quest once I did that.

So i tried the “fix” and moving them away from the spawn points. But that didn’t work. They were still unclickable.

THE ACTUAL FIX. Move them away. Kill every mob around the spawn area 20 yards. Then they become clickable. Had 100% success rate doing it that way.

For some reason it seemed to get fixed when I turned in the other two quests when they were done then went back. Had tried dropping the quest and reaccepting before only for it to not work, but I didn’t try the kill everything type solutions. Not sure if the turn in is an easier fix or just pure dumb luck.

I can only get 1 steward. Need to fix bug. This is preventing on futhering my quest.

I’m having the exact same problem and unable to complete my campaign. Been trying to finish this quest for three days.

so I was having similar issues with not being able to click several of the highlighted npcs however I think the key is to find the ones that are chained and being pulled byu a mob then kill the mob and those ARE clickable.
