Spawn rates for the carrots in Crystalsong Forest, required for the daily cooking quest “Sewer Stew” are far too low. I have been flying around with 3/4 carrots for 15 minutes now and other players in the zone are reporting similar experiences. I cannot imagine this is the intent of this daily and must assume that the low spawn rate is a bug.
Wrath was long before they added in any kind of spawn balancing due to high volume. This quest was always a pain because it is right under Dal so everybody thinks “oh this will be fast I’ll just go do it” so way more people are trying to do it than most days. And of course it’s week 2 and people are still hyped.
